Custom Engraving:
Custom Engraving on bricks or rocks are an inexpensive way to raise funds and recognize people for their donations. Sidewalks, walls, landscaping, pedestals, are just a few of the ways to do custom engraving make with people's names who have supported your project either with money or in kind labor. In 1989, which was the Centennial of Wyoming, the Centennial Park was established at Fort Casper. In honor of long time families and pioneers in our community a brick walk was created in the park. This was used as a fundraiser for the entire park with people buying a brick with either their own names or an ancestor name engraved on it. custom engraving is a technique done with careful considertation.
The Hospice Home in Casper continues to add custom engraving on bricks to the memory walk which has the names of people in whose memory donations have been made to the Home. In addition, they also have a beautiful garden for which families have purchased decorated custom engraving rocks, adding character to the landscaping.
The National Historic Trail Center has a large rock wall of signatures, replicas of people who wrote their name on Independence Rock and other historic sights along the trails. We were given photos of each signature and told to duplicate it with custom engraving. Originally, the custom engraving were done with hammer and chisels, or scratched on with a sharp object, swiped on with wheel tar of grease and we did the same custom engraving technique as closely as possible to create the same appearance.

To honor the many people and companies who helped fund the Trail Center, names were done in custom engraving on rocks to make a wall. Custom Engraving names are still being added as people continue to fund the building.
The welcoming entrances of Casper will eventually be marked with bronze statues mounted on large rock pedestals that have custom engraving with donor names have been added by custom engraving to recognize their contributions to beautify Casper. | | |
